Hi everyone,
I’m currently developing a trials motorcycle simulator and putting a lot of effort into the physics engine, specifically modeling realistic low-pressure tire deformation, energy dissipation and rebound behavior.

I have plenty of riding and action footage, but to calibrate the tire physics model itself, without the influence of motorcycle suspension or rider weight, I need some simple drop tests of a standalone wheel.
A few short slow-motion videos would be extremely helpful. The ideal test would be:
— A rear wheel with a low-pressure trials tire, without the motorcycle or suspension;
— Dropped vertically from a few different heights onto a hard, flat surface;
— Optionally, a few drops onto a narrow, hard edge/protrusion;
— Camera positioned from the side so the tire deformation, compression and rebound are clearly visible;
— Standard smartphone slow-motion (120/240 fps) is more than enough;
— If possible, stating the approximate tire pressure (psi/bar) would be very useful.
I’m not looking for high production value — just raw footage showing the shape of the deformation, maximum compression and rebound height, so I can tune the energy-loss parameters of the model.
If anyone has a spare trials wheel or a workshop where you could record a quick 2-minute drop test, I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you!
