Con el sol de pared a pared desde el primer d\u00eda de calificaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de, casi, a las condiciones de d\u00eda de la carrera Senior fueron mejores que cualquier otra reuni\u00f3n en la memoria reciente y las estrellas de las carreras de carretera real hizo la mayor parte de ellos.<\/p>\n
Michael Dunlop e Ian Hutchinson marcaron los primeros marcadores en la calificaci\u00f3n, con Dunlop sorprendiendo al paddock al lanzar una vuelta aparentemente casual de 133mph en la calificaci\u00f3n, la primera en el TT sobre la barrera m\u00e1gica.<\/p>\n

Para no quedarse atr\u00e1s, Ben y Tom Birchall le arrebataron el r\u00e9cord de vuelta a la sidecar de Dave Molyneux, un a\u00f1o despu\u00e9s de que lo tomara de Nick Crowe quien lo hab\u00eda sostenido durante casi una d\u00e9cada, aunque fue John Holden y Andy Winkle quienes tomaron un muy Popular en la primera carrera del sidecar de la semana.<\/p>\n
Ivan Lintin hizo historia en el peso ligero TT tomando las primeras victorias consecutivas en la clase, ninguna haza\u00f1a importante con tantos jinetes talentosos en m\u00e1quinas altamente competitivas desesperadas por la victoria.<\/p>\n

The exhilarating Isle of Man TT 2016 saw nearly every record in the book smashed, and smashed again in two weeks of sensational action that wasn’t without it’s controversy.<\/p>\n
With wall-to-wall sunshine from day one of qualifying through, almost, to Senior race day conditions were better than any other meeting in recent memory and the stars of real road racing made the most of them.<\/p>\n
Michael Dunlop and Ian Hutchinson laid down the early markers in qualifying, with Dunlop shocking the paddock by throwing in a seemingly casual 133mph lap in qualifying \u2013 the first at the TT over the magic 133 barrier.<\/p>\n
That set the tone for race week and it became very much the Michael and Ian show as they constantly pushed each other to greater exertions in the Superbike, Supersport and Superstock races.<\/p>\n
With two superb riders, on very evenly matched machines and in the form of their lives records were smashed into dust and the crowds were thrilled by spectacles of skill and technique on nearly every lap.<\/p>\n
Not to be outdone, Ben and Tom Birchall snatched the sidecar lap record from Dave Molyneux, just a year after he took it from Nick Crowe who’d held it for nearly a decade, although it was John Holden and Andy Winkle who took a very popular win in the first sidecar race of the week.<\/p>\n
Ivan Lintin made history in the Lightweight TT by taking the first back-to-back wins in the class, no mean feat with so many talented riders on highly competitive machines desperate for the win.<\/p>\n
