World Sports Car 1983-1989 – Description<\/p>\n

The 1980s was the era of the massive Group C sportscars, when the World Championship rivalled Formula One for drama, excitement and wheel-to-wheel racing.<\/p>\n

All the big names are here \u2013 Porsche, Jaguar, Lancia, Sauber, Nissan and Toyota \u2013 plus all the legendary drivers, including Jacky Ickx, Derek Bell, Stefan Bellof and Martin Brundle.<\/p>\n

Now you can relive seven spectacular seasons of the championship in these review, never previously available on DVD.<\/p>\n

Each boasts amazing race action, plenty of in-car footage and interviews with the big names of the period, ensuring comprehensive coverage of every year.<\/p>\n

There’s the works Rothmans Porsche team dominating 1983 with the mighty 956, Bellof and Jochen Mass battling to the end for the 1984 championship, entering the final round split by just three points and the arrival of the Porsche 962C in 1985, the year in which racing lost Stefan Bellof.<\/p>\n
